In this project case study, I will be sharing my experience developing a cohesive and impactful brand identity for S-PLY, a contemporary retail store.

The goal was to craft a visual identity that aligns with S-PLY’s minimalist and modern aesthetic. My role involved logo design, brand guidelines, print materials, store signage, and marketing assets, ensuring a seamless brand experience across digital platforms and the physical store.

Process

Understanding the Brand's Vision

The design process began with in-depth discussions with the S-PLY team to understand their brand philosophy, target audience, and aesthetic direction. This phase involved researching contemporary retail trends and defining a minimalist yet impactful visual language that aligns with S-PLY’s identity.

Developing a Cohesive Brand Identity

Based on the insights gathered, I focused on crafting a distinctive yet versatile brand identity. This included logo design, typography selection, and a refined color palette that reflected S-PLY’s modern and understated aesthetic. The brand guidelines ensured consistency across all touchpoints

Designing Store Signage & Marketing Assets

To create a seamless customer experience, I designed store signage, print materials, and marketing assets that extended S-PLY’s brand presence beyond digital platforms. The store visuals were carefully considered to complement the physical space, reinforcing the brand’s premium and contemporary feel.

Ensuring Cross-Platform Consistency

A key focus was on maintaining a unified visual identity across digital and print media. By creating structured brand guidelines, I ensured that every touchpoint—whether online, in-store, or in promotional materials—felt cohesive and instantly recognizable.
